As New Mexico’s new early childhood department — formed in 2020 as one of the first in the nation — we’re growing with you. If you take care of young ones ages 0–5, we need your help understanding what early childhood programs you use, what works well about them, and what improvements could be made to make them better for you and your family.

What did we learn from last year’s survey?

2022 was the first year of the annual Early Childhood Family Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. From listening to parents and caregivers across the state, we learned that:
